Project Detail

Overview

The project page holds everything in a project, across seven tabs. It opens on Files. Click the cover to add or change it, and click the project name to rename it.

Works

The project's tracks. Add work (for the artist's owners) opens the same guided steps as the Metadata Registry. Each row flags a missing ISRC; click a work to open its page.

Files

Four folders: Contracts, Split Sheets, Royalty Statements and Other, with your own sub-folders, search and drag-and-drop. After an upload you can link the file to works; linked works show as Relevant works.

Expenses

Costs for this project that come off net royalties. See the Expenses guide.

Audio

Upload audio and use Link to work to attach a file to one of this project's works.

Members

Invite Member by email with a role (Admin, Editor or Viewer), see pending invites, and see work-only collaborators.

Notes

Rich-text notes for this project.

Settings

Project details (name and description), the artist it belongs to, Leave project, Clear royalty entries (owner), and Delete project.

Role permissions

Project members get one of four roles. The person who created the project is its Owner.

Access through the artist
Whoever owns the artist (you, for a personal artist, or every member of the team that owns it) can open all its projects without a project role, add and edit works, and upload, rename, move and delete files and audio. Only that artist access changes files, audio and adds works: a project role on its own lets you view them (and, from Editor up, share files by email). The Members and Expenses tabs belong to project members, so someone with only artist access sees a note there instead. Deleting a project needs the artist's creator, or a team admin for a team's artist.
